Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assured residents of the state of better security this year, as measures had been put in place to intensify security efforts. Sanwo-Olu, alongside commanders of security formations and top government functionaries in the state, made this known while briefing newsmen after the state security meeting in the state yesterday. He said security agencies had been placed on the alert in preparation for the new deal. He nonetheless said the new plan to take Okada riders off the road would come with human face. According to him, though criminality has reduced dramatically in the state, security operatives will not relent but continue to device new means to tackle insecurity.
